About

I am a vegetarian but I try to avoid animal products as much as I can. Here are some of the recipes I try out. If I can cook them, anyone can.

Being a poor college student I really don’t have the resources to buy expensive ingredients or start a cook book collection. I am trying to expand my vege horizons.

I doubt that anyone reads my blog, but I really started it to collect all my recipes together. I know my photos aren’t the best to show off my food, but I am trying to work on my digital camera skills.

Trust me, all these recipes are tasty and Rupert Approved of course!

Cheers!

Rupert is cute (at least from what we can see of him!) ;)

THANKS! Rupert makes my time in my tiny apartment exciting. He is about 8-9 months old (probably born October 2006). He, his 2 siblings, and his mother were living in a storm drain outside an abandoned building. My friend and some others with S.A.V.E. (SavingAnimalsViaEducation.org) rescued them and found them homes. For 5 months Rupert lived with another girl but after that time she didn’t want him any more and returned him to my friend. She needed an emergency adoption so I took him right away. He really wants to be a vegetarian; he is always clamoring for my food but I never (well usually never) give in. He particularly goes wild for Earth Balance butter. To see more photos of Rupert, including his baby photos, I have an album.
